Refund & Return Policy

At Armaan Pandey Photography, LLC, we take pride in producing museum-quality fine art prints. This policy explains our return and refund procedures for print orders.

1. Made-to-Order Products

All prints are custom-made to order specifically for you. Production begins only after your payment is confirmed. Due to the personalized nature of our products:

  • We cannot accept returns for buyer's remorse or change of mind
  • We cannot cancel orders once production has begun
  • All sales are final unless the print arrives damaged or defective

2. Damaged or Defective Prints

2.1 What We Cover

We will replace or refund prints that arrive with:

  • Physical damage (tears, creases, scratches)
  • Production defects (printing errors, color banding, incorrect image)
  • Shipping damage verified by carrier

2.2 Reporting Damage

To report damage or defects:

  1. Contact us within 14 days of delivery at hello@armaanpandey.com
  2. Include your order number and detailed description of the issue
  3. Provide clear photographs showing the damage from multiple angles
  4. Include photos of the packaging if claiming shipping damage

Claims submitted more than 14 days after delivery will not be accepted.

2.3 Resolution Options

For verified damaged or defective prints, we offer:

  • Replacement: We will reprint and ship a new print at no cost
  • Full refund: If you prefer, we will refund the full purchase price

You will not be required to return damaged prints unless specifically requested. Replacement shipping is free.

3. What Is NOT Covered

The following are not eligible for refund or replacement:

3.1 Buyer's Remorse

  • Change of mind about size, framing, or photograph choice
  • "I don't like it" or "It doesn't match my decor"
  • Ordering the wrong size or style

3.2 Color Variations

  • Minor color differences due to monitor calibration
  • Natural variations between print runs (inherent to fine art printing)
  • Colors appearing different in various lighting conditions

We calibrate all prints to match the original photograph. However, your monitor's display may differ from the printed result. This is normal and not considered a defect.

3.3 Size Expectations

  • "The print is smaller/larger than I expected"
  • Failure to measure wall space before ordering

All dimensions are clearly stated. We recommend using the print configurator to visualize size before ordering.

3.4 Damage After Delivery

  • Damage caused by improper handling or installation
  • Fading due to direct sunlight exposure
  • Damage from water, humidity, or environmental factors
  • Damage occurring more than 14 days after delivery

4. Order Cancellation

4.1 Before Production

If you need to cancel your order, contact us immediately. If production has not yet begun, we will issue a full refund minus any payment processing fees (typically 2.9% + $0.30).

4.2 After Production Begins

Once production has started, orders cannot be cancelled. You will receive the completed print as ordered.

4.3 Address Changes

Shipping address changes must be requested before the order ships. We are not responsible for non-delivery due to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

5. Refund Process

5.1 Refund Method

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for purchase. We cannot issue refunds to different payment methods or accounts.

5.2 Refund Timeline

  • Refund approval: Within 48 hours of receiving damage report
  • Refund processing: 3-5 business days
  • Bank/credit card posting: 5-10 business days (varies by institution)

5.3 Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be offered in cases where:

  • Minor cosmetic damage doesn't affect display quality
  • You prefer to keep the print despite minor issues
  • Negotiated settlement for specific circumstances

6. Replacement Process

6.1 Replacement Timeline

Once a replacement is approved:

  • Print orders: 7-14 business days production + shipping

6.2 No Additional Charges

Replacements for damaged or defective prints are provided at no additional cost, including shipping.

6.3 Original Print Disposal

You are not required to return damaged prints unless specifically requested. You may dispose of them or keep them as you wish.

7. Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges for:

  • Different photographs
  • Different sizes
  • Different paper types

If you wish to order a different print, you must place a new order. We cannot modify orders once placed.

8. Shipping Insurance and Claims

All shipments are fully insured. If your package arrives damaged:

  1. Do not discard the packaging
  2. Photograph the damaged package and contents
  3. Contact us immediately with photos
  4. We will file the insurance claim and send a replacement

You will not be required to deal with the shipping carrier or file claims yourself.

9. Lost or Stolen Packages

9.1 Tracking

All orders include tracking. You will receive a tracking number when your order ships.

9.2 Lost in Transit

If tracking shows the package is lost or stuck in transit for more than 10 business days, contact us. We will work with the carrier to locate it or file a claim and send a replacement.

9.3 Package Marked Delivered

If tracking shows "delivered" but you didn't receive the package:

  1. Check with neighbors and building management
  2. Verify the delivery address on tracking
  3. Wait 24 hours (carriers sometimes mark delivery early)
  4. Contact us if package doesn't appear

We will assist in investigating with the carrier. However, we are not responsible for theft after successful delivery to the provided address.
